Bart Vandewege is a Belgian composer, director, singer and producer, based in Madrid.

His versatility as a musician is the result of his studies both of musical theory (harmony, counterpoint, composition) and of singing, flute and piano at Belgian conservatories. Later, his musical exploration led him to study early music, contemporary music, jazz and traditional music. Meanwhile, he attended masterclasses in orchestral conducting with, among others, Salvador Mas and Arturo Tamayo, who guided him through the romantic and contemporary repertoire.

Earlier in his academic career, he also studied visual arts and creative writing. Both disciplines serve as synaesthetic inspiration for his musical compositions for theatre, cinema and dance, as well as for his video projects, which he started during the 2020 lockdown.
